Bladed Jigs

from $10.15

Each Bladed Jig comes equipped with an extremely stout and sharp Mustad hook and single-wire bait keeper, so you can use the same trailer to catch multiple fish, and elaztech type baits easily stay on the keeper without needing super glue. Each jig head has 3-D eyes, increasing realism and providing a good target for the fish. And as always, each lure features wire tied skirts in realistic colors and patterns, maximizing action and realism.

What sets these bladed jigs/chattering style baits apart is their ability to be retrieved at slow-medium speeds; creating a longer window of opportunity for bass to sense the blade thumping, see the action of the custom skirt and trailer created by vibration, and be more inclined to bite your lure with its erratic, hunting action.

I prefer throwing the 3/8oz and 1/2oz baits on 40-50lb braid, spooled on a medium-high gear ratio reel, and most importantly…a heavy-power cranking rod. Rip it through grass with the small diameter, zero stretch, and strength of the braided line and quick handle turns of the med/high speed reel, and create a reaction strike from a fish you’ll dream of catching again. The crank bait rod does the rest of the work as long as you keep grinding on the reel handle. I’d recommend having a net ready, unless you boat flip double digit bass pretty regularly.

Blade options: polished nickel, black nickel, chrome chartreuse, gold, green pumpkin.

Specs: 1/2 oz models come with a 5/0 Mustad hook, 65 lb 2X split ring and stainless steel snap (line tie).

3/8 oz bluegill and white silver flake heads come with a 4/0 Mustad hook, 65 lb 2X split rings, and a 40 lb stainless steel snap.
